BIO
Stacy Christine's foray into DJing took place under the wing of Joshua James of Music For Dancers (MFD) in 2012. Selecting records and cohosting several parties, it was at MFD that she made a fateful friendship with Chris Bowen of Bears in Space, LA. 

After the unfortunate closure of MFD, Chris Bowen took Stacy Christine on as a protégé, offering her her first DJ gig in 2015 at Bowen and Victor Rodriguez's monthly Friday night party, Cub Scout, a wilderness-themed party at Silver Lake's gay institution, Eagle LA. Sharlese is a Seattle DJ and KEXP host blending electro, EBM, Italo, and techno. She’s played at venues like Nowadays, Tresor West, and Panorama Bar and has appeared on podcasts like pi pi pi and The Brvtalist. With 17 years at KEXP, she produces The Afternoon Show and hosts Mechanical Breakdown. Sharlese also runs and curates Audiodrome and False Prophet and holds residencies at secondnature in Seattle and ROAM Recordings’ Problemes d'amour in SF.

Betty delivers club-oriented dance mixes tinged with indie dance and dark disco, while adding some new wave. Her inspiration comes from bands such as Depeche Mode and The Cure, which she particularly likes.
Betty is a night owl… She started to work in the night life at the end of the 80's in the trendiest clubs and bars of Lyon such as La Centrale, Haute-Tension, Le Fridge, as a barmaid or party organizer, then at L'Exit, a famous techno bar she managed, but also for the mythical parties I love Boys, Enjoy and Wake Up. 
In 1995, she moved behind the decks and learnt to mix on vinyl alone in her bar every night after closing. 
Now, even if she has left the night life, she’s so passionate about music she decided to move towards production. She’s in fact the half of the duo @nouveaufutur who released some tracks on Mélopée Records, Crave Tapes Records and Espacio Cielo. 
Finally, she’s currently preparing her next solo release.
