Being a lover of traditional Indian music as well as the more eclectic pop flavors coming out of that great country, I really enjoy this composition and performance.

Funky club music that will have you tapping and swaying to the beats. My voice is my instrument :) and I have sung combinations of Indian music notes accompanied by the sarangi (an Indian string instrument). Based on Raag Malkauns in Indian music, the album Krishna, The Flute Player was at no. 14 on the US Billboard Charts in World Music in September 2016 and is based on my life's journey. The album includes both electronic forms and acoustic forms, featuring instruments such as flutes, piano, acoustic guitar and a wide variety of non-western acoustic instruments such as the bamboo flute, sarangi, bulbul tarang and batajon.

And off course it is all tuned up with vocals by Shashika Mooruth. Her voice weaves in and out of the sound of different instruments and dives deep into your soul.
