<a href="https://www.facebook.com/djskeetnyc">Skeet</a> (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/matthewpilger">J. Matthew Pilger</a>) began DJing in 1992. He was the understudy of DJ Sprout (Jordan Coopersmith) &amp; was influenced by early NASA, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/satelliterecordsnyc/">Satellite</a>, &amp; upstate New York raves and NYC club weeklies like Disco 2000.&nbsp; For three years in college at the University of New Haven, he hosted a live underground vinyl-to-vinyl mix show on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/wnhu887">WNHU</a> with pal <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/jamesfusion/">James Fusion</a> (Jim Morro) &amp; later became the music director&nbsp;&amp; station manager there. He also founded indie record label <a href="http://www.entropikany.com/">ENTROPIKA</a> in his early years at the university with label partner <a href="%20https:/www.facebook.com/DjRussUrban">DJ Russ Urban</a>. Skeet was then recruited for the upstate New York company ACME/Central Groove and represented them until they later dissolved. He graduated from <a href="https://www.facebook.com/unewhaven">UNH</a> in 1996 with a BA in music &amp; Sound Engineering. He also began producing DJ tracks that same year.&nbsp; <a href="https://www.facebook.com/djskeetnyc">Skeet</a> was also 1 of 4 DJ's to play at 'Perpetual Vibe', the infamous Translucent party at the <a href="http://www.entropikany.com/SkatePark.aspx#.UvfoCPldWuK">Newburgh Skate Park</a> in the fall of 1997 which was raided and featured on a segment of ABC's weekly documentary broadcast 20/20. He later sampled that broadcast and created '<a href="https://soundcloud.com/skeet/07-20-20-translation">20/20 Translation</a>' in <a href="https://www.facebook.com/entropikany?ref=hl">Entropika</a> Studios, then out of Walden, upstate New York. The track was played by various large caliber-high profile DJ's mainly in the late '90s. Throughout his career, he's played in many parts of the U.S., italy, Canada, Netherlands &amp; Germany and he still continues to play records and remix tracks for the masses to this day.&nbsp;
These days, he sits at the helm of <a href="http://www.entropikany.com">ENTROPIKA</a>,&nbsp;the pinnacle old school upstate NY production crew which will bring you <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/1374287122820608/">FULL CIRCLE: The Homecoming</a>&nbsp;this April of 2014. He &amp; partner <a href="https://www.facebook.com/russ.urban.9?fref=ts">Russ Urban</a> also admin the Facebook group page, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/205413573196/">90's New York Rave Scene</a>.
