From the same small square of Northern Manchester that in recent years has produced bands like The Chameleons, Northside and more recently, The Slow Readers Club, Y-Key Operators are making 2017 the year to step out of the shadows.

The band's music is a reflection of the line up, with years of experience at the highest levels of the industry, a familiar Manchester sound with a millenial update. With nods to bands like New Order, Joy Division, The SexPistols, Stone Roses and Happy Mondays, the Y-Key Operators offer a powerful synth drive, with the twanging guitars, thudding basslines, frenetic drums and regional vocals fans of the Manchester sound will relate to.

Y-Key Operators have a reputation for filling great undiscovered venues across the city, but feel it's time to take the message and the music further.

We are The Velveteens, a five piece band based in Leeds. We comprise of:
Immy - Rhythm guitar/Lead vocals
Katie - Lead guitar/ Backing vocals
Ione - Bass/Backing vocals
Joel - Keyboards
Josh - Drums
Our songs combine the raucous sound of 60’s garage with a modern sensibility, awash with harmonies and guitar/keyboard driven melody. Our melting pot of influences across time become fully apparent when songs in the set range from from fast rhythm and blues right through to mid tempo waltzes. Having played the jazz café in camden and several festivals enjoyment is guaranteed!

Gondwana Records is an Independent record label based in Manchester, UK. Founded by Matthew Halsall in 2008 the label has gone on to release music by Allysha Joy, Caoilfhionn Rose, Dwight Trible, GoGo Penguin, John Ellis, Mammal Hands, Matthew Halsall, Nat Birchall, Noya Rao, Phil France, Portico Quartet and STUFF.

We slide between sparkly trippy garage / dub and trip hop and  ghostly gunned out bassline rave. 
Indus Traps are a collaboration between acclaimed High Wizard of Electro Dub Dirty Freud and Holographic London Goddess , Producer, Sound Artist Composer, Vocalist, Destroyer of Worlds Lou Barnell. 
They were brought up on a diet of bassline, warehouse rave, garage, old school dub, classic trip hop (and the odd Morley's chicken feast)
