Luke first started DJ'ing in 2006 on the Bournemouth club scene.  Since his music debut, Luke has played a variety of venues in Bournemouth including X-change bar, DYMK, The Warehouse & 2930 (formerly The Triangle).
Over the past 5 years Luke has also played at the ‘Bourne Free Dance events’ which take place in the city each year, and was the headline act in 2011.
After a headhunt and a few phone calls, Luke started playing for Decadance in 2012

Rory is a multi award-winning Music Producer/DJ and Film Maker. His music career has seen him producing 8 critically acclaimed albums and numerous EP’s, Singles, Remixes and Collaborations with other artists worldwide on various worldwide labels. Rory covers many genres including House, Funk, HIp-Hop, Big Beat, Breaks, Chillout and many more. Some of his tracks have been used as background music on internal American Airlines and in stores like Macy’s. He has also produced tracks for Film, TV and Adverts including tracks for Disney, Sony BET TV, Fox TV, Costco, Audi Asia and the Tour De France Documentary and is constantly working on new syncs. He has DJ’ed throughout the country in clubs and at Major Festivals including Leeds Festival, he was the Opening Act at the 2014 Tour de France Fan Park performing to over 20,000 people and has DJ’d in Paris  for the Crea Sourire Charity for Sick Children.

In September 2018, Rory had a book published, ‘The Little Big Beat Book’ where he interviewed 120 major artists of the 1990s Dance Scene including Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy. The book reached No.1 in the Amazon Dance Music Book Charts. His second book The Beatles: Acting Naturally; Obscure, Rare, Unfinished and Abandoned film & TV Projects of the Fab Four’ has just been published in 2021 to rave reviews.

His film ‘Autism And Me’ is published worldwide on DVD together with a booklet he’s written explaining in easy to understand terms what it’s like living with Autism on a daily basis. Some of his awards are listed below and he has seen praise for his work from people like Paul McCartney, Stephen Fry, Craig Charles, Fatboy Slim, Michael Palin,  Jane Asher among others. He works constantly to promote understanding of Autism, going into schools and organisations where they show his film to do Q&A Sessions and gets messages from all over the world from grateful families. In fact, one American mother said she felt she knew her son for the first time having watched Rory’s film. 

He’s been on British and American TV, Radio and Press a number of times over the past few years, and has been called ‘Inspirational’ and a ‘trailblazer’.

DJ BedDown started DJing in late 2009 where he gained a taste for tech house. It was during this time that he played his first gig at the Egg, London in a warrior Dj competition. There after into 2010 gigs followed. In the June he gained his first set at the mighty Ministry of Sound for their Gallery night where Richard Durand headlined and later that year at Pacha where he played the main room for Space Summer Sessions.

DJ BedDown has also played on Royal Caribbean Cruise ships and had radio shows on Afro-Disiac live based in Bournemouth and Zodiac radio based in London . After playing regularly in small clubs and venues around the South coast gaining a reputation as one of best Djs at pushing the cross overs between genres and reading the crowds tastes in 2011 he was asked to play the Animal Wind Festival in Poole.

It was towards the end of 2011 when BedDown really discovered a passion for deep house after his first visit to Ibiza. This trip inspired him to actually spend the 2012 season in Ibiza gaining a residency at Voodoo/SWYD at Kanya as well as a residency at Delano Beach Club in Playa d’en Bossa. He also came second in a competition to gain a residency 4 Pukka Up boat parties  who he played for a few times on the island. Since returning from Ibiza the gigs have been coming in thick and fast and most recently playing V club Bournemouth with the one and only Pete Tong.

Having been surrounded by dance music all summer he is now heavily influenced by the deep sounds of the Diynamic record lable run by Solomun and by Solomun himself as well as producers such as MK, Frankie Knuckles and Andre Crom, Frankie who produces the more old school house sounds is one of the Djs who has had a big impact on his style. BedDown influences go a long way back with the likes of Depeche Mode and New Order and further on than that to the sounds of the original 60/70's reggae dub and then through to the punk sounds of the late 70's.

Upon his return to England at the end of the season he is now concentrating on producing and starting his own promotions company for nights in and around the South Coast mainly Bournemouth.  His first season introduced him to how the island operates and with this in mind and from the contacts gained he intends to return next year for another season.
