Here's an improvised solo piano piece that conveys a sense of mystery, longing and determination. I called it "Deciding Moment" because it feels like this person is about to move forward on something that's been blocking him or her. It's time to push through and overcome. Will this be successful? It's not clear.

With all of my solo piano pieces, which are most often improvised, I'm trying to create a mood or a scene. It's like dropping you into the middle of a story. What setting or situation can you imagine to this music?
