Shawna's passion for music began in early childhood attending the Winnipeg Music Folk festival in Canada, where she grew up. There, she was exposed to musical genius from all over the planet, refining her ear for the origins of all types of music. In 1999, she began to perform as DJ. Her sets are eclectic, genre-bending fusions of Future/Global Bass, Techno, House, Deep House, Moombahton, Hip Hop, Dancehall, R&B, Cumbia, Disco, UK Funky, Tropical.
She has the ability to read what any dance floor needs. Played next to many a known name such as: Bassnectar, Mimosa, Glitch Mob, Beats Antique, Moderat, Freak Nasty, DirtyBird, Tipper, etc..
and has a musical project with Zoe Jakes-
(of Beat Antique)- called Pussymonster.

Shakin' booties across the bay and beyond, Jocelyn's vibrant personality, dj skills as a sound track selectress combined with a few of her own ear worm bass heavy mixes and her simple desire to turn you "ON" makes fora high energy show that captures your attention and traps you booty on the dance floor.

While communing with the vixen within, she adds some bass and creates a booty infused sauce of luscious sounds.  Using entrancing sultry highs with intent to lul dancers into a sonic womb and then entice you back into your body with her love for bass.  Often mixing it up, but always keeping it booty, she draws globally from her selection of sounds.   Working the subs over with her deep syrupy butter, her only intent is to share her love of feeling wild, fun and yum in life.  Sharing her sexy, gutteral grinding liquid-lithe mixes, she hopes to drive your consciousness deep into your hips while moving the dancefloor with her to an entrancing beat.

As a professional artist and dj, she has been recognized for her skills and chosen by other promoters to share the stage as an opening or closing act for acts such as Bassnectar, Glitch Mob, Beats Antique, Little Dragon, Thievery Corporation, Ooah, Edit, An-ten-nae, Kalya Scintilla, and Random Rab.
