Simon's moody electronics and Nick's simple, tuneful piano additions. We have several different versions of this, but I decided that I liked this first version best. Like many of our pieces, it has a kind of narrative arc that's more than a simple verse-chorus one. There's a sense of a journey implied. The title emphasises this. An alternative title was Nuages, French for "clouds". Overall, I think the piece is too dynamic for that title.

This album was written during slow hours with little intention beyond staying present. Piano leads each piece with light strings or a single woodwind appearing only when the space allows. The sound remains soft, steady, and unobtrusive.

These tracks are meant for reading, studying, writing, or quiet routines. Each piece reflects a real place or moment observed briefly and left untouched. Nothing here asks for attention. It is music meant to sit beside focus rather than interrupt it.
