Just listening to this again. Starting to understand it. Love the piano chords arguing with the other tempo and the build is really progressive. Can see you now in a backroom somewhere dropping this. I'll be the one in the corner sitting on a stool and bobbing my head...

The first time I heard this track was in the stunning blog of the guys of FeelMyBicep. The entry of the blog including this track was mistaken for what I saw in Discogs. The gym guys wrote this one as "Free At Last", which is the "Friday" side of the record, but the track corresponds to "Get A Head" (Saturday side of the record). Maybe it's Discogs who is wrong, but I'll keep the faith on them, as they have a quite competent database. Actually I have never played this record or even seen it, so I can't make sure which side correspond to which track. But anyways, as this edit is quite pricey on Discogs, and the file on FeelMyBicep is quite poor on quality, I decided to get the original track, and just do it myself so I can share it with everyone.This one shows the legend Harvey Basset at his best, with his moniker R.V.Cock, deleting the ultracheesy parts from the track, keeping those epic pianos running all over it, and giving it a marvelous treatment (just with the copy-paste technique). My favourite DJ Harvey edit without a shadow of a doubt. Enjoy!

La primera vez que escuché este edit fue en el enorme blog de los chicos de FeelMyBicep. La entrada del blog que incluía este tema estaba equivocada según Discogs. Los "chicos del gimnasio" escribieron esta como "Free At Last", que es la cara "Friday" del disco, pero el tema corresponde a "Get A Head" (cara "Saturday" del disco). Alomejor es Discogs quién está equivocado, pero voy a fiarme de ellos ya que tienen una base de datos bastante competente. En realidad nunca he pinchado o si quiera visto el disco, así que no puedo asegurar a qué lado o qué nombre corresponde a cada tema. En cualquier caso, como este edit está bastante subido de precio en Discogs, y el archivo de descarga de FeelMyBicep está en una calidad pésima, he decidido hacerme con el tema original y hacer el edit yo mismo para compartirlo con todo el mundo. Este tema representa lo mejor en materia de edits del legendario Harvey Basset, con su alias R.V. Cock, eliminando las partes más horteras y gayers del tema original y manteniendo los pianos épicos a lo largo del tema, dándole un maravilloso tratamiento valiéndose nada más que de la técnica del copy&paste. Mi edit favorito de Dj Harvey sin ninguna duda. Disfrutadlo!
