Malachi Constant is a resident in Fuchs2 and also a co-founder of Prague-based label Samet. He is a long time enthusiast for atmosperic tribal and experimental broken music, as you can hear him play live or for example in his show Crescendo on Radio Laude. Lately Malachi has switched to more melancholic and industrial sound, as can be heard in this mix.

Atch of Amphibian rec. and Malachi Constant of Samet are joining forces to showcase their mixes alongside future guests under the Heraklit stamp. Plebeian, effective and co-op - Heraklit.

The Femme Bass Mafia member brings eclectic and high-energy vibes to the floor. Finding inspiration and connection with music since childhood, the German-Vietnamese artist has built a bass-heavy style with a fusion of club sounds – from electro, dubstep, drum and bass, jungle, and juke to hard drums, global bass, and jersey club. HIỀN ĐIÊN fuses these with diverse ribbons of other influences. Polyrhythms come into play, leading the mind down unexpected paths and bridging deeper connections between audience and music. Particularly inspired by Southeast Asia’s underground Nhạc Gẫy music, a HIỀN ĐIÊN set is always deeply imbued with personality and full of surprises.

Friday Express _ 048 _ Transparency

The Hague's wonderful and (very rightfully) self-proclaimed "adventurous and forward thinking" Rewired Festival happens to be at the origin of this mix: Luring long time vinylist Sky Captain northwards very recently, he stopped over at Bordello A Parigi's brand new home base in Amsterdam on his way back to Zurich. Unsurprisingly, he found himself in a heaven of wax and decided to create a mix consisting almost exclusively of records brought home from this very rich Dutch harvest, including a double take from a yet-to-be-released EP on Giallo Disco. The result is an increasingly rugged sonic journey with the occasional ray of warmth ripping through the towering dark clouds, allowing queer things to grow beneath.
