Having been performing independently for over eight years, Summer Heart signed to the renowned Swedish label Icons Creating Evil Art right before the pandemic hit in 2020. With an already impressive roster under their belts, the imprint is set to become a welcome home to the frontman’s breezy and lovable direction. Following on from the release of his highly-praised EP ‘Ambitions’ at the end of 2020 and his subsequent follow-up EP 'Insecurities' in the fall of 2021, Swedish alt-pop troubadour Summer Heart now has his aim for a full length album this summer; brining together some of the best pieces of music he's released on ICEA so far with some brand new cuts. But before that there are some other gems that need to see the light of day. He started the year with a collab where Summer Heart had remixed fellow label mate artist Glamour Hammer, and he's now releasing a remix from fellow swede Oliver Nelson of his single 'Good Together'. Oliver adds his laid back cocktail disco vibe to create a perfect summer breeze when we need it the most.

Discussing the track, Summer Heart says: "This song is about when you meet a new person that you really like, it feels as if you fit perfectly together and you have like an "us against the world" vibe, but then in the end nothing really comes out of it. Then you might look back and wonder what it would have been like if the two of you had ended up together.”

Producer Oliver Nelson may be from Sweden and has released music and remixes on various power houses in the EDM world, but he’s far from the kind of bottle-servicey house music mafioso that those things might imply. He’s got a taste for vintage disco and a subtle sensibility that have helped him rework tracks by Tove Lo, Justin Timberlake, Marina and the Diamonds and even Whitney Houston into rubbery electronic funk that avoid the full-blast sensory overload that a lot of pop-oriented dance music falls into. He has also collaborated with the likes of Kygo, Todd Terry, Zayn, The Kooks and many more, delivering a wildly eclectic array of offerings throughout his career.
