Playing this set at Burning Man 2023 was a truly unforgettable experience, and it happened on Thursday night, just before a wild storm hit. Playing for friends and fellow burners in the desert was an absolute joy, making the night before the rain even more extraordinary. We did not anticipate that we'd weather the storm for three days, but as it raged on, it created a unique sense of unity and resilience. When the sun finally pierced through the clouds, it felt like a genuine desert rebirth for all of us. 

I want to express my deep gratitude to @sabda-music-official for generously sharing his unreleased tracks with me; they added an enchanting dimension to the night. <3

Amidst the dusty embrace of Camp Alborz's sunset party, a serendipitous moment unfolded following Roy Rosenfeld's enchanting set on a Thursday night. With open decks, Ace On (@aceon09), Catamine Therapy (@esrashidian), and shilimili (@shilimili) took turns going b3b, sharing two tracks each on the Alborz Damavand Art Car. Their impromptu collaboration transformed the art car into a modest haven of music, offering a heartfelt fam jam moment just as a swirling dust storm swept in, moments before the first drops of weekend rain.

The vocals in this bootleg are from “Jamal Jamaloo,” a captivating piece from Iran’s Bandari folk music heritage. The Kharazemi Girls High School choir first introduced ‘Jamal Jamaloo Kudu’ in the 1950s, a song that embodies the essence of traditional Iranian/Persian melodies. Many believe the esteemed Bijan Smandar’s poetic works inspired this captivating piece.
