maritime is a showcase of anthéne's patient yet intriguing soundscaping, but this time with an altogether more grounded and directional approach. After an unmistakably calming first half, the album journeys somewhat darker, more introspective, without drawing away from the vastness of its initial input.

A new, more focused sound for anthéne, maritime presents a real cognitive exploration, framed by its subject - the vastness, awe and terror of the ocean.

Beachers - A Precipice Is All We Have (part 1)

In November 2016 a musical bond was formed in a small suburban part of Copenhagen. What later turned into the foundation of Nature Tales, several sonic creations, events, workshops, concerts and travels, all began with a walk around the local lake with a handheld recorder on an ice-cold late autumn day. On that day these two pieces were composed from recordings from the frozen lake, combined with ngoni, frame drum and voice, and from there the journey back to nature through organic/electronic ambient music commenced.

We are happy to finally share this EP for the first time to the public, almost 6 years after its creation.
