Electronic musician and pop ambient pioneer Markus Guentner was listening to Karen Vogt's track "Cloud forty-three" precisely at the same time as the church bells in his hometown of Regensburg, Germany, were ringing at 21h. Guentner commented on how well the two sounds work together, and Vogt agreed that he should do a remix using her original vocal loop track and the bell sound. Guentner recorded the bell ringing the next evening and then proceeded to mix the two together.

Vvanya Samokrutkin — OT's Morning Flight

"OT's Morning Flight," a spontaneously created composition by Vvanya Samokrutkin, arises from silent observation of the vibrant and chaotic atmosphere of the 14th arrondissement of Paris. This motionless reflection leads the artist to contemplate the fleeting nature of existence.
The reflective practice emphasizes the melody that both opens and closes the piece. This work integrates environmental recordings made in public spaces, sculpted synthetic textures, and percussive patterns that defy linear or predictable development.

Rhythmic and noise-driven, "OT's Morning Flight" builds tension through processed field recordings and unstable percussive structures. As an electroacoustic piece, it blends synthetic textures with sounds from the streets of Paris, creating a site-responsive composition rooted in controlled dissonance and repetition.

Rather than following a narrative, the sonic system resists resolution, inviting focused, process-based listening.

Ethereal Projector #2 Oceanology by Dionisaf | Immersive Ocean Ambient Mix

An excerpt from "Velocity of Sleep”, Kali Malone’s first full length record featuring a compilation of her compositions for baroque string instruments, gongs and electronics. Slowly unfolding in minimalist form, the record grows as an additive pattern from a single note to a thicket of septimal melodies played on the theorbo and expanded into canon via tape delays. On the B side, gongs are struck lullingly, amounting to shrieks as they’re stroked upon a throbbing foundation of sine waves. The end of the record lands in a spectral monolith of bowed gamba, double bass and viola. Split released by XKatedral and Bleak Environment. Out August 25, 2017. Edition of 100  Records.
