Toshio Kiyosaki (1922-1999) was a Japanese haiku poet and scholar of Japanese literature. He published a biography of Kyoshi Takahama in 1966 and co-authored Kyoshi Monogatari, another study on the renowned haiku poet, in 1979.

The Milky Way (amanogawa, or "Heavenly River" in Japanese) is a kigo for Autumn, mainly because that's when the galaxy is most visible in Japan.

'The Shores is an expression of the moods picked up on the isle of Arran, Scotland over two visits in 2018. Pitched up in a cave adjoined to another that had been used as a place of worship, Projektions experienced haunting nights which he wanted to express through music. This album is that experience.'
