Guy Gerber, fresh off a fruitful collaboration with P. Diddy, delivers a feverish, saturated late-night mix.

Emerging talent Sei A turns in a hauntingly beautiful dubstep mix reminiscent of the mighty Burial.

After a three-year-long hiatus, Lone's marks the return of his Magicwire label with Lance Neptune's Animal Eclipse. The six tracks of ethereal sounds reintroduce the imprint aptly, with "Janus" coming up trumps for us. Synthesised brass stabs and a broken syncopated beat slots perfectly into sonic parallels with Lone's former Reality Testing and Galaxy Gardens on Magicwire's parent label, R&S. A well versed, well loved sound that gives us another much needed glimpse of sun.

José Soberanes in the mix for Shimmering Moods………..

José Soberanes (Tula de Allende,Hidalgo (MX); 1983) An artist inspired in experiences with people, college life, film scores or just listening to random sounds. He has developed a trajectory within experimental and alternative electronic music since 2012, publishing a bunch of albums, ep's and singles on many labels around the globe and performed series of concerts and collaborations with several artists as well . 

Currently mixing digital & analogue, both instruments and resources on his sound works, focusing on minimalism, singularity of field recordings & improvisation; as a main tool. No studies, no academic education, no scholarships, pure learning by doing self-taught appropriations of his creative skills.

He's the current founder and label manager of Nova Fund recordings and partner in crime with Mauricio Sotelo on We Only Share (WOS) label, also they project  called “Particle Assault”. 
As an artist he appears on:Abolipop/Suplex, WOS, Impulsive Habitat,  Twice Removed,  Sonospace, Éter Lab & White Lab Recs

On friday 13th May I was invited to play an all night long session at Concrete in Paris, it was my longest set to date and was an amazing experience and a huge honour. I'm known for being able to bang it out for a few hours during peak time but this really gave me an opportunity to find my groove and  explore the journey element of djing. The community spirit was strong as they crowded the streets. They had arrived on mass to protest against the changes which had been forced upon the kingdom of Acapulco. This place may of seemed like simply a city to some but it was in fact so much more. It was an entity, a paradise in its own right. There was a beach, a stretch of land and the sun kissed climate of euphoria. It was heaven on earth and they would fight for its very survival. The drums banged and the beat went on. 

BXP is the second artist to release on RA-1. He delivers two intriguing versions of a track titled 'Acapulco'. This is then followed by two seperately enchanting remixes from none other than D'Marc Cantu.

Hotel Neon is the Philadelphia-based trio of Michael Tasselmyer, Andrew Tasselmyer & Steven Kemner. Together they create immersive and atmospheric soundscapes, aided by projected film and images.
For this podcast they selected their favorite tracks from this year.

Hotel Neon’s debut self-titled album was crafted in 2013 with little more than a personal computer in a home studio, then self-released on limited cassette tape. The music eventually caught the ear of Ian Hawgood, founder of eclectic Tokyo-based label Home Normal (Christopher Bissonette, Celer, Library Tapes), and was subsequently remastered in January 2015 by Hawgood himself, lending even greater dynamic range to the music. The grainy textures, mechanized rhythms, and subterranean bass pulses that permeate the album were made clearer and more focused, leading to resounding critical review and "Best Of 2015" status in outlets like Headphone Commute, Textura, and Arctic Drones.

Hotel Neon released its 2nd album, “Remnants,” on acclaimed U.K. experimental imprint Fluid Audio in March 2016. Extensive touring throughout the U.S.A. followed with Lowercase Noises (NM) and Slow Meadow (TX, Hammock Music), in addition to special radio and live appearances with the likes of Loscil (Ghostly, Kranky), Benoit Pioulard (Kranky), and more.

Andrew Tasselmyer's upcoming album "Resonant Moments" will be out on Shimmering Moods Records around March 2017.
