'Lonely Planet,' the 2017 debut album from Tornado Wallace, found the new age-loving Australian reaching new levels of sophistication, and now his creations have been given the remix treatment. Slated to arrive on March 16 via Gerd Janson's Running Back label, the new EP features reworks from veterans like I:Cube, Move D and Prins Thomas. The latter is a slow-burning exercise in cosmic disco, and it debuted on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

"Having previously danced "Under the Garage" and "Under The Loft", old pals DJ Sprinkles and Hardrock Striker are now throwing shapes beneath "The Ballroom" on this third and final part of the exclusive vinyl series accompanying their celebratory Skylax House Explosion mix CD. Fittingly, there's a trio of tracks to choose from, beginning with the tactile, loved-out dream house chords, fluttering FM synthesizer melodies and rubbery, retro-futurist Balearic house grooves of Lauer's "Bigs". Octa Octa steals the show with the alternately chiming and dreamily deep "Running" - all eyes-closed synthesizer melodies, elongated chords, cut-up vocals and snappy drum machine percussion - while "Soleil Mauve" by Violence FM and The Underground Soulsavers is an effortlessly good chunk of dreamy, melodious and ultra-deep house."

Shinichiro Yokota Presents Do It Again and Again

Parisian Cosmonection is back for his second outing on Beats Of No Nation. This time a little deeper and more refined but with that same groove that piqued our interest the first time round.

We premiere, Maerado - a percussive swung techy workout, underpinned by a whirring South Asian, Desi undertone. This snaps in and out of action as soon as you're soon met by the chord progression and the punchy bass line, which both combine and meld seamlessly into the mix. The anchored loop washes over and over in hypnotic like synchronicity - with elements delicately and gradually added and removed from the mix. If this is your bag, the rest of the record is most definetely worth a look, with cuts both suitable for the armchair or indeed the floor.

PREMIERE: Cosmonection - Maerado [Beats Of No Nation]

Far East Recording’s Shinichiro Yokota has enjoyed a revival of late, thanks to a recent reissue on Rush Hour of his classic ‘Do It Again’ and further reissues on Hhrati with long-term friend and partner in crime Soichi Terada. This has brought their unique brand of house music back onto dance floors and firmly in the hearts of music lovers around the world. With a recent performance to a jubilant crowd in Tokyo, this could spell a move back into playing in clubs for Shinichiro, so watch this space.
