I think it’s safe to say that the last three mixes in this series have been a narrative of some particularly tumultuous times in my life. At this point I’m happy to say that I’m feeling mentally and physically healthier than I have been in the last three years. Getting a grip on my vices and making healthier choices with my time has recharged my batteries, and having this pandemic shit somewhat wrapping up - I’m feeling more motivated than ever to get back to the music. 
I also wanna dedicate this mix to to all the incredible souls that we’ve lost in the past year. Some of the brightest lights have left us and it’s truly been heartbreaking for so many of us. So tell your people you love them and don’t take anything for granted.

Feeling wanted and included has always been a trauma I have faced and still struggle with.  This year however, that feeling, while still present has diminished quite a lot. Rabbit Hole Mix at Shambhala 2024

It was truly an honor to be asked back to bring up the sun at The Grove Stage for Shambhala's 25th anniversary. 

This one is an open love letter to myself and a very special someone. It was a beautiful morning for me and I just want to say how grateful I am to be able to travel and express myself through my favorite music. Mornings at the Grove Stage will always hold a special place in my heart and all of you make that possible. Thank you <3

I’d also like to acknowledge that I wouldn’t be able to live this life without all the artists that have come before me. Maximum respect to the originators of these styles and sounds. This is black music. Just about everything we know as modern music, electronic or otherwise stems from black and indigenous cultures from around the world. Without these innovators we as djs would have nothing, thank you. And furthermore, a lot of the settings and the way we gather to experience these sounds, from warehouses to festivals and modern club culture was started by the queer community. Sunrise @ The Grove Stage Shambhala 2018

I feel like I speak for a lot of us when I say this past year has been challenging and full of a lot of heavy changes. As the days start to get longer I feel like the light is finally starting to come back. This mix is essentially a musical representation of a lot of emotions I’ve been feeling over the past few months. I decided to not focus on technical mixing so much with this per se but was more aiming to showcase a collection of songs new and old from over the years that have helped me process and move forward.
