Cosmicleaf presents SHIVANAM with a studio mix showcasing their music catalog. With their fourth album that was released at Cosmicleaf Records they are entering a completely new musical dimension. They leaned even more into the electronic scene with dense bass lines and rich rhythms, traditionally connected by many sound frequencies up to hypnotic trance. They are also preparing a new concert line - when the situation allows it. The music group Shivanam is a multi-genre band which draws inspiration from world and ethno music and combines it with modern styles like chill-out, ambient, electronic music, dub, downtempo and trance. The Shivanam was founded in 1998 and has cooperated with many musicians and bands. Although some of the abovementioned now run their own projects, they still perform with the Shivanam as special guests. Currently the group has three members. During performances you can hear a variety of music instruments. The music itself is a fusion of classical and traditional instruments (acoustic guitar, pipes, percussion, drums, shaman drums, Tibetan bowls, shenai, voices) as well as modern ones (electric guitar, keyboards, samplers, sound effects).

I-One is Ivan Jasek, a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist from the Czech Republic, best known for his work with Shivanam. Ivan has over 26 years of experience working with sound as a DJ, music composer, singer, professional musician, and music teacher.  As I-One, he creates classic psybient soundscapes inspired by shamanic traditions, ritualistic music, music therapy, and traditional music. His music sets a colorful spectrum of sounds, harmonies, beats, and mixes, enriched with field recordings, samplers, live instruments, and vocals. I-One’s compositions transport listeners deep into the vast realms of their inner selves.

What is the music of Shivanam like?
„Rituals from different continets together with electronic music, modern rhythms blending with live 
interpretation and sounds of the nature, efected live in a compact musical story. Multimedia show, a juncture of world music with modern rhythm from the whole world – worldbeat.   Phenomenon in the Czech fields. Absolutely personal, characterful expresion.“

Shivanam has currently 2-5 members:

● Ivan Jasek (voice, guitar, samplers, tabla, live effects, singing bowls, shamanic and frame drums, mouth harp, chimes and more)

● Edgar Mojdl (flute, pipes, shenai, keys, live effects, Ghatam, congo, tarabuka, sampler and more)
● Ladislav Siska (percussions, wavedrum, djembe, cogas)
● Petr Hlousek (bassquitar)
