Some people touch your life in unexpected and unprecedented ways.  Such was the case with a little red-headed girl, maybe seven years old, but in every way a ministering and guardian angel to her daddy who was going through a very rough patch in his life and never wavered in her devotion to him.  Maddie, this one's for you. You blessed my heart beyond words. 
A very special thank you to Axel Menningen for loving this song and lavishing his musical gifts on the arrangements.  He offered me two versions and loving them both, I asked him to publish the other mix on his profile. This is a kind of "Irish Pub" version of the song, smaller and more intimate. Happy Endings

According to St. Bede, Ceolfrith set out from his monastery on 4 June 716, a thursday. Among the things he took with him was an enormous book, a gift he intended to deliver at his earthly destination. The giant book Ceolfrith took with him, now known as Codex Amiatinus, is the oldest surviving, complete Latin Bible in the world.  Ceolfrith took one of the three giant bibles written in the Wermouth monastery, where he was the abbot, as a gift for St Peter’s shrine in Rome. " ... and got on a horse, speeding away from the land of the Angles to the lands where, with a freer and purer spirit for contemplating angels, he might be delivered to Heaven".
On 12 August Ceolfrith "reached the lands of Gaul", where he was received with honour by King Chilperic himself. The party then travelled over land. Ceolfrith went part of the way on horseback and part of the way being carried on a litter, as he was becoming ill. He reached Langres around 9am on 25 September. He died there on 29 September 716.

In Our Lives

I’ve always dreamed of recording a synthwave track, but I’ve never been able to create that atmosphere, the right drum section, the characteristic bass line, and the vibe that this wonderful genre of music is known for.
