Spending money on yourself and your business can be a really scary leap to take, b ut so many coaches and mentors out there make it seem like such an easy snap decision, and that if you don't do it somehow you are “less than”, scared or “ don't believe inyourself” 

I’m here, in this podcast, to firmly deny and dispell these myths. Because if there's anything i know for sure its this …. 

I believe in thinking about it 

I believe in sleeping on it 

I believe in discussing it with your partner

I believe in hand on your heart KNOWING you are making the right choice 

I strongly believe in this new way, because I've seen time and time again how the FOMO hustle brings in all types of wrong clients for me.

Something that is purchased from an energy of lack, scarcity, fear, guilt or FOMO cannot possible then switch gears and help you step into feelings of overflow, abundance and gratitude. Nope, never works …

The Energy Of Investing In Your Business

The podcast episode is about brands and businesses who “support women” on the surface, but when you look deeper are in fact taking advantage of women-led small businesses. 

Why I'm not ok with that, and why you shouldn't be either. 

I'm not here to call out specific companies or organisations. I'm here to open up a conversation, call awareness to this issue, that if left unchecked, will keep so many women in business stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, feast and famine with money, undercharging and in survival mode instead of thriving and rising together

How are we meant to close the wage gap when women businesses don't pay other women?

How are we supposed to support women if that support only extends to sharing an IG post they made and not paying their invoices on time?

How are we meant to demand respect in the entrepreneurial space if we treat other women with such disrespect?

It just doesn't work.

Let's not leave these conversations for another day. They need to happen now.

Ripping down that patriarchy, it begins here,
You support women by paying them. It’s that simple.

The Problem With  "Supporting Women"

Why I'm a coach who hates many things about the coaching industry. 

I wasn't born yesterday (that's one of my favourite bluey episodes, in case your wondering). I've been around long enough now that I'm confident in myself and the fact I know my shit.  Thirteen years as a business owner, six years coaching and experience in many different fields. It's enough that I trust my gut, and I'm not afraid to stand up and say, "we can do better", especially when it comes to the coaching industry. 

In this episode, I will dive into some of the red flags I see in the coaching industry, specifically business coaching and the psychology of toxic marketing that's become SOOO commonplace. 

And speaking about this publically is going to piss a few people off, but fuck it, it's 2022 bitches, and now is the time to clear out the weeds so the flowers can bloom. 

It's not about calling out specific people or tactics. It's about beginning a conversation, increasing awareness and teaching people how to identify a red flag for themself so they can use critical thinking to make decisions about investments and coaching.
