JFK {Jungle Nerd Recordings, Mule Town Records} Columbia, TN:: 

  In 1999 Josh Kennedy after being in multiple rock bands decided to try his hand at becoming a DJ. With his background in live music and experience in grass roots promotion, becoming just another DJ wasn’t an option. Josh quickly picked up the basics and started to realize he needed more. His cousin Matt Brown aka MMB / Point Blank showed him some tricks and scratches as Josh's interest  moved toward turntablism. After deciding to use his initials (JFK) as his alias he quickly started to pick up on the technique of those DJ he enjoyed listening on the reg. In two short years JFK was becoming a house hold name across the Memphis rave scene where he was introduced to Jungle. With multiple weekly residencies in Memphis by the end of 2001 JFK was spreading the word in over 20 states. By 2002 JFK had played at over 60 major events across the US not including his 2 weekly residency events in Memphis.

   Early 2002 JFK moved back to his home town of Columbia, TN just south of Nashville where he opened Planet 3 Records. During his three years in the Nashville scene JFK played and helped organize multiple jungle/drum and bass events. By this time his primary style and sound had become one that is still recognizable amongst the vast population of DJ enthusiast today. Ragga Jungle had become his primary focus for sets and production and turntablism was at the forefront of his abilities. In 2003 JFKs ability to produce and write new music lead him to start Jungle Nerd Recordings. Over the next 2 years JNR would go on to release 3 records on vinyl and over 20 downloadable Ragga/ Jungle tracks. JFK had become a local legend amongst the Nashville massive and with his label and new spin on Ragga/Jungle things were happening faster and faster for the DJ/Producer. By 2004 JFK had played in over 40 states and credited for the production of over 60 Drum and Bass / Jungle/ Hip-Hop tracks and successfully bringing artist on to his label with co-founder Zebulon Wiggs.

   In 2005 JFK called it quits and disappeared from the scene all together to build his most important creation, a family. Fast forward to 2011 and we find ourselves in what looks to be amidst a comeback from JFK and the rest of The Jungle Nerds. With an arsenal of new tracks ranging from Ragga/ Jungle/ Drum and Bass / Hip-Hop to Breakcore & Drum Step. 2013 looks to be a new era for JFK and his crew of Nerds.

Cuillere, a prominent figure in the house music industry, has built a successful career as a producer and DJ. His journey began in the early nineties when he started DJing at various raves. Through skill and dedication, he gained a strong following and secured club residencies across the United States. In 1999, he collaborated with Jolby to form the renowned crew known as the “Jack Junkies,” further solidifying his influence in the industry.

Cuillere’s passion for house music production led him to form an alliance with Busy and Crux. Their debut single was released on DJ Sneak’s esteemed label, ‘Oomph.’ Building on this success, Cuillere and his cohorts, now known as ‘Busy N Spoon,’ went on to release tracks on prominent labels like Lingo and Photo Records. Transitioning to a solo career, Cuillere released a series of compelling EPs and remixes that captivated audiences and drew attention from record labels such as Moulton, House Music Salad, No Fuss, LNJ, Pluralistic, Simplistic, Panhandle, and several others.
