Shorty Phresh is an up and coming MC on the rise to the top. Through her musical skills, she plans on breaking down many discriminating barriers, especially for the "Lesbian Community”. Born July 18 in Oakland, Ca., Shorty Phresh was always surrounded by music and basketball. Seeking a better life, her mother moved to Las Vegas when she was 11 years-old. It wasn’t until a high school talent show in Las Vegas that Shorty P. realized she wanted to be an entertainer. Shorty P., her sister and a friend later formed a group called “Reign”.

After completing High School, Shorty moved to Illinois where she went to college on a basketball scholarship. She then signed to play college basketball for Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee. Jackson provided an opportunity for Shorty Phresh to pursue her musical dreams. 

With the help of Kodeezie Productions, Shorty released “MoneyBag” mixtape which took the Jackson streets by storm.  Shorty P. then dropped her latest single "We Can Start An Epidemic".  She later performed the single at Pat Charles B.E.T “Blaze The Stage” talent showcase in Jackson. The crowd loved her so much; she was invited to open the following showcase in Memphis, TN. After her performance at B.E.T “Blaze The Stage” in Memphis, she was invited to open for Miami Mike’s (Soulja Boy manager) showcase which also took place in Memphis. Shorty P. has performed at several other venues - Memphis Pride, Atlanta and Birmingham, AL to name a few.

It’s beyond rap for Shorty Phresh. She has a confident and cocky swag that embodies a fly level of cool from her stylish persona to the lyrics that she spit.

"It’s not always about lyrics and a hot beat. It’s also about putting on a good show for the people" states Shorty Phresh.

The new single "We Can Start An Epidemic" is climbing very quickly to the top of the charts. Listening to her music you will get the best of both worlds.
