Dion Hunt aka Dastardly Kuts is a veteran dance, hip hop and party style/ open format DJ who is also the driving force behind Brisbane based artist agency Kut Above Entertainment. With a desire to provide the highest quality music, live performances and visual arts in conjunction with only the very best in funked up party vibes, he has made it his mission to provide artist management and a collaborative event support network that is centred around core values of equality, diversity and social enterprise.

As a DJ, Dastardly Kuts has been bringing his mashed up style of funky club flavours to Australia for over eighteen years in a career that has seen him warm up the decks for some of the most respected artists across the dance music spectrum. His journey began as the main writer and engineer behind Terravita and Hot Pink Delorean, where he honed his production prowess and stagecraft, quickly establishing himself as a forward-thinking creative mind. Over the years, he has continuously evolved his sound and persona—adopting the Tremourz moniker for a time—delivering chart-topping hits such as “Sexy Party” (with J Rabbit) and its acclaimed Terravita remix. His single “SpoilerAlert,” which dominated the Beatport Glitch Hop charts, garnered further attention through its feature on TBS’s “The Real OG.”

His discography boasts over 30 releases on WOOFAX MUSIC, complemented by notable appearances on acclaimed imprints such as Gravitas Recordings, Circus Records, Dim Mak New Noise, Westwood, 19k, Sleeveless Music, and more.
