This is Urban Poetry's 2nd 12“ vinyl release and it combines old and new in a beautiful and timeless way. Being located in Berlin, the label has been releasing 170 bpm music and beyond for almost twelve years now. Both tracks, Cruel Culture's Hyperion and Elusive Elements & Silent Mind's Immortal, first came out in 2012 as digital only releases and were musical milestones for the label. Their sheer beauty and grace is still breathtaking today. In Cruel Culture's Hyperion, celestial strings and atmospheric pads open up the doors for a dance of the titans to which the track continually evolves and takes the listener to other spheres. Tellus, an uprising star and extremly gifted talent within the 170 scene, blesses us with a modern, breathtakingly fresh and epic remix of Hyperion. Razor-sharp drums lead through the track while the characteristic strings from the original accompany a super heavy and deep diving bassline. Top notch business! The flipside follows the same concept with Elusive Elements & Silent Mind's Immortal, which offers another classic from the Urban Poetry rows. Immortal is a beautifully crafted piece of contemporary electronic dance music and is, with its classic groove, earworm melody and minimal arrangement, somehow reminiscent of the early days of synthesizer music. Kodama, to some better known as Ahmad or Acid_Lab, joined forces with Turrican for the Remix. Staying true to the original the two added their special touch and gave it a new, more etheric, outfit. The 12" release will be strictly limited and comes in a full color sleeve with a sticker and (Bandcamp) download-code. 12" and Digital will be avaible end of August 2021 via Bandcamp and other resellers.

For two decades we have been trying to bring a fresh wind to the otherwise musically forgotten border gate of the three countries of the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. And so, for this occasion of our 20th anniversary, we decided to create the music compilation that will at least partially map the atmosphere of the last 20 years. We have always focused on non-mainstream music and diversity in the genres of Autonomic Drum and Bass & Techno, so even though  it is a genre-different and varied compilation, all artists have one thing in common, and that is the SHOTGUN FESTIVAL.  The result is a compilation of 2x LP 12" vinyl with 12 songs by 12 artists.

Již dvě desetiletí se snažíme vnést svěží vítr do jinak hudebně zapomenuté hraniční brány tří zemí mezi Českem, Polskem a Německem. A tak jsme se ku příležitosti našeho 20. výročí rozhodli vytvořit hudební kompilaci, která tu atmosféru předešlých 20ti let alespoň částečně nastíní i u vás doma. Vždy jsme se zaměřovali na nemainstreamovou hudbu a rozmanitost v žánrech Autonomic Drum and Bassu & Techna. A Leč se jedná o žánrově odlišnou a pestrou kompilaci, jedno mají všichni umělci společné, a to je SHOTGUN FESTIVAL.  Výsledkem je kompilace 2x LP 12" vinyl s 12 skladbami od 12 umělců.

After a brief hiatus, Discipline return with their 5th installment, with a lot more to come as we move into 2023!
We delve deep into 4 interchangable moods from label curator, Antagonist. Each track carefully deconstructing elements and crossing borders taking inspiration from a broad field. We begin with Hyperdrive Dreams, a crisp drum loop sheltering icey pads giving the listener a space voyage to remember, easing into Transport, which could form the backing music as your craft docks into the space station to refuel!
Landing back onto terraferma , Watercourse guides us back through lush green treelines and dense forests with the touch of ethereal arp loops , layered behind sharp drum edits throughout. The final sequence in the title track ends the EP on a high, a 4/4 time signature from Antagonist pushing the scope wide, drawn out brass vistas accompany distorted bass sounds from the rear keeping your focus locked throughout. A solid journey from the unique artist for your collection!

DISCIPLINE005 - WINTER'S PROMISE EP

Here it is, the brand new album from Echo Chamber Sound celebrating over 10 years of releasing music and running the soundsystem.
This one is something a bit different from the vinyl releases we have done.
The album comes on an engraved USB with matching engraved box.
22 tracks in total, ranging from previously unreleased dubs from 2009 up to brand new music finished the day before the album was finalised.
Release date April 1 and available only at the gig at Kindred Bandroom on April 1, bu a few copies will be available via the Echo Chamber Sound Bandcamp for those who can't reach the event.

The launch of Sub Channel Music is the latest achievement of Max Hock, for many better known as Es.tereo or Theme. Shaping the 170 genre for almost over a decade now, his name is undoubtedly linked with musical passion and high production skills. Working with Samurai as Theme has been one of 170s best kept secrets, culminating in the acclaimed ‘Passages’ LP in 2017. The cinematic soundscapes Max Hock has woven with his productions made long waves within the scene and were appreciated from music lovers all over the world. 
  
To gain more musical freedom and follow his inner beliefs, Max Hock now founded Sub Channel Music. Starting off with the magnificent "Earthbound EP", Es.tereo is going back to his roots and creates distinctive dark and tribal soundscapes; mixed with a strong organic vibe. To round this EP up, man of the moment - Homemade Weapons - delivers a fierce remix which erupted dance-floors from Berlin to Washington and has proven itself as a serious weapon numerous times.
