Our 7th release on Resonance comes in hot by Daniel Neighbour (@dj-neighbour). A more than talented producer, DJ & promoter based in Prague. OPUS 4+5 are deep, atmospheric tracks with a groovy punch feeling right at home in the astral catalogue of the Resonance label.

Joining the OPUS 04 & 05 tracks are 2 respective remixes. One extra deep remix for 05 by Prague based Ian Oskadev (@ianoskadev) and a minimal breaks inspired remix of 04 by UK based Resonance founder  Frederick Ansgar (@frederick_ansgar).

Experimenting in all sorts of sounds this more toned back, chill episode of the mixcast is perfect to wind down into the weekend on a journey of sounds inspired by Sjonkels travels and beyond. Escape into the various soundscapes that occasionally bring you back to earth with rhythmic sections of the mix.


Sjonkel Rolfsen is a vinyl enthusiast and music collector from Trondheim in Norway. He has been welding records at local venues and events for two decades. Now turning 40, he mostly enjoys to fiddle around with experimental and ambient music in the comfort of his own living room, but sometimes still get the odd epiphany to wonder out into the hypnotic world of house, techno and minimal. When he is not fumbling about on the decks, he likes to travel. He tries to play with the possibility of combining electronica and leftfield soundscapes, in a podcast friendly way, catering to your everyday soundtrack needs.

The 8th Instalment of the SHUVT World Series come in from UK based Waitn.

With a keen ear for acid house and warehouse music from a young age, Manchester based, Modus Musik head honcho Waitn is no stranger when it comes to the underground scene.

With aspirations of starting a label in the near future, Waitn has been actively working on projects of his own, carefully sculpting his sound as he prepares to release some of his own material at the beginning of next year.

His musical persuasion focuses on intricate drums and heavy basslines, with influence coming from the likes of East End Dubs and Rigzz.

After making his @distriktbarleeds debut earlier this week, you can find him playing next for @good_times_wm on 17th September in his home town of Cleethorpes, as well as Modus Musik Presents: pt.2 on 19th November.
