The Questions of an Old Lady Sutra, 18 May 2012 - Taipei, Taiwan
This sutra contains teachings given by the Buddha to a 120-year old woman. Upon meeting the Buddha, she asks him questions concerning the four stages of life, the aggregates, the elements and the faculties. The Buddha’s response to her questions forms a complete and profound teaching on shunyata or emptiness.  After interpreting and elaborating on the sutra, Rinpoche gives instructions for directly applying shunyata in our own practice and leads two short meditation sessions.

Today we share with you a recording of Mayum Kunsang Dechen reciting the recently published, "Praise to Tārā with Twenty-One Verses of Homage," as well as one of Yoshiko Crow reading the text in English.

All prayers, practices and mantras are sung by Geshe Kalsang Lungrig Gyaltsen. Recorded and enginered by Jes Brinch in Møn, Denmark in 2003.

We aimed at clarity in the recordings, to help practicioners of the Bön tradition to learn the prayers. For this purpose there is 2 versions of the Chöd practice: Frist Acapella / voice only, and then a version with Kangling, bell, drum and voice. Please respect the recordings, and do not use them commercially or otherwise. Enjoy!
