New Album: “The Signal”

A signal is received from  light years away. The AI project that was built to understand human emotion though music was the first to discover the signal. The project was donated to SETI after being declared a failure. 

The decision was made when the project team could not explain why “Sophia” was listening to certain songs multiple times. She was built to analyze every recorded piece of music in humans history and was able to do this at least 3 full times in just a few days. Now she was listening to only a few songs a day. The blinding speed Sophia was able to receive data means she could listen to 1 song to an impossibly small number of nano seconds.
 
On the days they officially canceled the project, she listened to one song multiple times in it’s actual running time. 

“The Signal” is a concept album that tells the story of Project Sophia, the project creator and a signal received from a distant star with 2 planets in the Goldilocks zone.

The sound of Signal from Space is a unique blend of alternative rock and electronic music that has been described as “a mix between Muse and Radiohead” Originally founded in 2018 by songwriter John Henderson, who also serves as the guitarist, keyboardist, and engineer for all recordings. When the debut album "The Modern Ego" landed on top of Bandlab's featured album list it quickly hit over 40,000 downloads and the fan base exploded overnight. The follow-up album "Imposter Syndrome" was released on June 28th and on July 1st it reached number 6 on the Alternative Music Scene Top 10 charts on Reverb Nation.
