The Journey - Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra

Hi, my name is Ting Si Hao and I am a Singaporean music composer & producer. Even though I learnt the piano when I was 7, I only became interested in writing music when I was 13. What inspired that? Video games & film OSTs.

I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic in 2010 with a Diploma in Music & Audio Technology and have since been working as a music composer for various media mediums. I put on the music producer hat occasionally to do album/song productions & arrangements and enjoy writing concert music in my own leisure time. I will be taking a Masters in Scoring for Film & Visual Media at Pulse College (Dublin) and am excited to announce that I am the recipient of the NAC (National Arts Council) Singapore 2015 Arts Scholarship (Postgraduate) as well as the 2015/2016 Conrad Pope Scholarship (from Pulse College).

As a film composer, I have been fortunate to have worked on a diverse range of feature films such as Dolph Lundgren’s action flick – “Battle Of The Damned” (2012) & Tony Kern’s Horror movie – “After Images” (2013). I also had a hand in scoring the first Singapore film to open for the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) – Ken Kwek’s black comedy/drama “Unlucky Plaza” (2014). My latest feature score (in 2015) is a (yet to be released) horror movie by Kelvin Tong – “The Faith Of Anna Waters” (2015) which stars Elizabeth Rice & Matthew Settle.
