Dreadsquad - Poland's staple Reggae Dancehall export


The Dreadsquad project has put Poland on the map for creating dancefloor friendly riddim and bassline madness. From the Superfly Studio in Lodz comes tune after tune combining Jamaican sounds of of Reggae, Dub, Dancehall, Ska and Rocksteady with the modern sounds of Breakbeat, Jungle, Dubstep and Garage.


Dreadsquad was launched during 2001 and what followed was a flurry of mashups, remixes and Polish Sound Clash victories which gave confidence to turn a passion into a way of life for the man at the controls, Marek Bogdanski. Hundreds of gigs in Poland turned into European tours and now Dreadsquad has toured as far as the USA, Canada, Brazil & India.


Always in demand, Dreadsquad has worked with plenty of top Jamaican and European artists including Ward 21, Tenor Fly, Top Cat, General Levy, U Brown, Milion Stylez, Lady Chann, Tipa Irie, Jah Mason, Perfect Giddimani, Dr Ring Ding…the list goes on.


So far Dreadsquad has released 4 mixtapes, 4 full-length producer albums and a host of vinyl and digital singles which made it into the top of the best DJ shops in Europe and into the playlists of the premier DJs of the world.

The Dreadsquad sound is a worldwide sound taking influence and inspiration from all walks of life. It is glued together by Jamaican Soundsystem culture and modern Bass music culture and is a force to be reckoned with.

I Sonnocolla nascono nel’estate del 2006 , con l’intenzione di seguire un percorso tra il rock e il cantautoriale. La rinnovata formazione , ha cercato durante questi ultimi 2 anni di mantenersi fedele alla sua idea iniziale , aprendosi ad altre influenze e stili musicali. Allontanandosi verso un genere più sperimentale senza dimenticare la melodia o l’importanza delle parole.......
Dopo 3 demo autoprodotte si apprestano a pubblicare il loro primo album E.r.a.

Sardinia Bass Legalize’ project starts on the july 2006 after a big period full of collaborations between King Kietu and Sensitivedub. An important position for the project’s creation is that of Dr Boost that is the vocalist of ‘Tostoine Dub System’ project together with King Kietu, from 1999 to 2005. ‘Sardinia Bass Legalize’ begins as an evolution to the ‘Tostoine’ project..then to grow as a new counsciousness for the sound trying to make a compare also with other bass culture on the other side by the sea… From 2007 to 2009 create important release how Sbl ep e Vision of my land, out for Aquietbump net label, And another important dub Uk release how wailin’ e pope with Dan I and put a faya who with a Sardinian singer Rootsman I and Boghes de Pedra with Dr Boost. In 2009 starts a new collaboration with a Senegal singer Vibesbrain wich producing a new Ep called Timeless, out in 2010 for aquietbump nel label, where the 2 producer King Kietu and Sensitive dub propose a new approach of composition. If in previous releases were also composed music independently, in Timeless alls tracks is composed together. 
In 2012 they produce "Gravity and in 2018 "glow / black tea" available on their bandcamp profile and in all digital stores

AQUIETBUMP is a label based in Irpinia - southern Italy. Aqbmp produces multimedia focused on dub, digital roots, downbeat and bass frequencies.
