In awe

I love impressionists (that's why Claude Monet is on the cover) and wanted to explore the same Impressionism in music. There is no single apring, all shorter strokes and drops. Rather hues and hints. The Shadows if you will :) 

Other challenge, I indulged myself was to make this SYNTH-phony, using only MOOG sounds. It was so tempting to play guitar or strings or flute. I wanted to stay focus played my favorite Arturia MiniMoog, Moog Modular, and AniMoog. Otherwise one piano, percussion made in Korg Gadget, produced in Ableton Live 9 with IK Multimedia mastering tools.

 I extracted this quote from Robert Moog, greatly respected engineer and artist of sound, from his interview available on YouTube:

Some parts, like the wobbly/slides/something sounds you can distinctly hear in the into, I played by hand and ear on AniMoog. This is the iPad app invented by Moog Foundation. You slide over iPad surface to design and create unique vibes and sound colors. I know, if there is someone thinking to "throw a tomato" at the iPad musicians, please prepare one for maestro Jean-Michael Jarre, he-he :D  I'm not placing myself anywhere close, of course, but was so excited, after played this AniMoog part here, to see the one JMJ video, where he is playing the same app for his number one album of the year! In one of Electronica 1 video you can see the iPad on the right, green-ish look of AniMoog. 

The cover art is a fragment of Claude Monet "Water Lilies", 1920s. I took the photo earlier this year, in Museum of Modern Art, New York. I noticed and specifically took a shot of "THE EYES" I saw (see them in right lower corner?). Nice, can spend hours when get a chance. Thank you ALL for the support!
