Sven Weisemann (@svenweisemann) is one of my favorite producers. His sound signature is remarkable and stands out from the masses. 
His releases on Mojuba introduced me to his melancholic, yet energetic and organic sound design. His tracks incorporate classical elements and samples from films. As a cinema enthusiast I love that approach. 

If you are new to Sven Weisemann, I can only recommend diving into his discography with masterpieces such as Xine, Inner Motions, his Jouem series on Mojuba and the Desolate albums of course. Every new release is a reason to be excited!

Chapter IV of the Pulsations from the Forest series is dedicated to the young label @iorecs from Munich. I came across the label more than a year ago, which is dedicated to a sound and aesthetics that fits exactly to what I have always been looking for in electronic music. Deceleration, hypnotic soundscapes, cineastic atmospheres. 

The label consists of a roster of artists that works perfectly as a group. Similar sound philosophy, but in nuances, each artist follows his own expression of a hypnotic sound. Besides the sound, the label also works in the visual field, which is not only reflected in the distinctive artworks. 

My recommendation: Support the collective around IO Records. This is great head cinema. Thank you @dycide, @mtrl_audio, @epsilon10, @delusionalcircuits, @polygonia, @kaf_official

Furtive is a full-gonzo polychromatic techno conjurer. A Washington DC-based producer, DJ, and event organizer, Furtive manifests the rave with warping, slippery textures and eclectic asides - both in their studio work and in DJ sets. Furtive helps foster nightlife as a member of SEQUENCE, a local team of rave-rats organizing some of the District’s zaniest techno parties. A prolific and multifaceted producer, Furtive has landed releases on Warok Music, ROOM, Metro Xpress, Northallsen Records, and Format Recordings, along with multiple self-published releases and a handful of further pending ones. 

Furtive's production spans from psychedelic warphole-diving techno, quirky and muscular electro, acerbic acid, crooked ratcheting bass bits, and drum & bass. The recent past has seen this elusive rave supplicant sharing billings with internationally celebrated acts like Wata Igarashi, VTSS, Rhyw, Rrose, Umfang, Sterac, Adam X, Tensal, and Developer. Beyond the dance floors and strobe lights, Furtive tinkers as a visual artist, illustrator, and tattoo scratcher.

Pablos sounddesign is very unique. Lush, warm, organic, sometimes more house influenced, sometimes more deep techno influenced. Always soft and deep as deep can be. His project Mind Groove focuses more on ambient, field recordings and storytelling. He is a prolific, versatile artist who managed to create his own trademark style and sound. He curates the labels Avantroots, Seven Villas and Seven Villas Voyage. All with an amazing roster of artists and consistent quality. Check also his Pulshar project with focus on dub.
