He is a multi-faceted artist who takes pride in REJECTING the sterile, soulless music forms that are currently wreaking havoc on the ears and minds of our people. While it would be financially and critically conducive to "get in where he fit in", the Griot deliberately opts to carve his own niche and create music that reflects truth, honesty and the comfortability of being HIMSELF, something which is sorely lacking in the current music genre  passing itself off as "Hip-Hop".
 
In this day and time when you have "conscious" Hebrew Yisraelites that bring forth secular (and often times profane) music and pushing their national identity to the background, The Griot proudly represents his nationality, culture, ethics &, above all,  his Creator YAHAWAH.
