Silent Season is a music label influenced by the natural surroundings of British Columbia, Canada. The sounds of Silent Season grew out of the connection between deep ethereal music and the mossy rain forests of Vancouver Island. Poison Ring is an experience rooted in sound, but also works to stimulate other aspects of the human sensorium. The sound produced and presented live is exclusively comprised of tapes (cassettes and stereo-8s) and vinyl records, all hand-refined into loops.Iconography and choreography, alongside the use of specific aromatics, serve to potentiate the overall effect of live Occurrences. The magical worldview which informs and inspires the individual behind this endeavor is primarily of an Hermetic nature, specifically concerning traditional planetary attributes and correspondences.
