Hayley lives in Hastings, Uk. Her musical roots are unashamedly alt-country and folk, with sometimes dark yet affirming songs that speak of haunted pasts and everyday struggle. Hayley's timeless songwriting and soulful voice carry the weight of many lifetimes.

Hayley draws on the influences of Sandy Denny, Gillian Welch and Elliott Smith. 
At the age of 29 as a single parent, Hayley moved to The Netherlands where she began writing her self-titled album and performing in Den Bosch with the welcome support of her local record store. She then moved to Brighton where she formed Americana duo Grand Palace, and in 2016 she returned to her hometown, Hastings, where she made her first home recordings ‘All Along the Railings’ ep. In 2021 she performed at The De La Warr Pavilion to support ‘This is the Kit’.
With 15 years between now and her debut ‘The Daisy Room’, this album is more than a break of silence. It’s an explosion of expression both musically and lyrically and a sure sign that Hayley is back with her full creative spirit intact.
