The year is 1983, everywhere tension is rising and talks of cold war had begun. Ronald Reagan and Yuri Andropov launched a dick-measuring contest in the form of nuclear missiles, big dicks i must add. Michael Jackson meets Tina Turner for drinks at the Caesars Palace and decided: fuck this shit, let’s pretend they’re not here. Let’s call all our grownup friends.

As a result, great music was born that year. Music that goes on setting the tone for the rest of 80s; a golden era for hip, pop, rock, and everything in between; and the world became harmonious, and more in-tune.

Almost a true story.

Nora Alanbar was also born that year, a small star in her own big big world. She just turned 40 like many of you out there, except she inspired this mix. True story.

The entire set is made of “only” tracks released [1983]. This was the main challenge that soon turned into its charm, a diversity of genres that fusion nicely.
