For the past 20+ years i have been singing lead and backing vocals in various bands, regularly stomping the live pub circuit in London and performing across the UK and France. 

I also have ample experience in recording most genres of popular music such as rock, indie, dance and hip hop in studios as well as playing bass guitar and trombone in a live reggae/ska band. 

As a tenor vocalist, i possess a distinctively clear and clean individual style when i perform and my falsetto can be quite angelic.

X-Port - the latest album release of System 7 - presenting a unique combination of techno and trance beats and live musicianship. On October 16th 2015 A-Wave Records simultaneously released the full power System 7 X-Port album and the more chilled Mirror System album titled N-Port. This ambitious release plan celebrates the 21 year anniversary of System 7’s seminal Fire and Water dual albums, and presents the full range of Hillage and Giraudy’s work in the field of electronica.

SYSTEM 7's previous release - the Passion EP - really hits the spot, showing that in 2013 they remain on top of their game with their unique blend of trance and techno.

The most recent full System 7 album UP (released May 2011) tips the balance a bit in a more techno and tech house direction, still showcasing the unique System 7 sound with ultra modern production and a feeling of positivity. The album was inspired by time spent in Berlin. The club single, taken from UP, is PositiveNoise, a collaboration with Berlin-based A Guy Called Gerald, and features a new deep techno remix from Carl Craig and a powerful remix from Japanese techno star A.Mochi. PositiveNoise also has great new Japanese animation video clip

SYSTEM 7’s Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy have had a strong influence on the birth of psychedelic dance music and it’s journey up to the present, forging a unique and bang up-to-date identity on the genre map, in a space where techno, progressive and trance meet – with a healthy side-element of unique quality ambient chill which is connected and reflected in their sister project Mirror System. 

Since the beginning of the 90s System 7 projects have been marked by a series of high powered collaborations, working with Detroit luminaries Derrick May and Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, The Orb, Jam El Mar, Son Kite among others. System 7’s club singles have had outstanding remixes from the likes of Plastikman, James Holden and Dubfire, whose mix of Space Bird was number one on Beatport’s main chart for 2 weeks in 2008.

I am a composer, producer and pianist based in Berkshire, UK.

I write beautiful music with live and virtual orchestras, live instrumentalists and vocalists. With studio production quality, I am able to seamlessly integrate recorded parts with modern sound design and electronic parts, and deliver music-sync’ed video demos.

Writing professionally since 2009, my work can be heard in numerous original feature film and short film scores, in adverts for web and tv, and in general web and tv production where licensed from high end music libraries.

Good working relationships with filmmakers are hugely important to me, where I have many years of experience in the spotting-writing-production cycle. With great communication, I always aim to make the director’s work as easy and hassle-free as possible, an ethos which has carried me through many successful projects.

Welcome to the world of Chamber Folk!   A home made orchestra entirely faked using wind instrument controlled strings wrapped snugly around my trusty songwriting companion, my ukulele.   Uke has proved an instrumental (pun intended!) songwriting companion leading me slowly and surely to a quaint little world of gentle sounds and wistful melodies. 

I see myself as part of a new cottage industry, home grown music recorded in living rooms and bedrooms around the world, a revolution driven by the absurd power of computers.  Now imagination is the true limit.  Naturally, as with all cottage industry workers, I'm broke =)  

In general I would say I'm a right tart when it comes to instruments.&nbsp; First and foremost a guitarist at heart, with a sneakin love of the bass, having an illicit affair with a ukulele and a lewd liaison with an Akai EWI USB all strung together with Ableton. 

I love the fact that sitting at my PC in my living room I can construct all kinds of music that would have needed a studio just 10 years ago. Ain't technology grand!
