Matteo Rama aka Guxi was born in Rome, class '86'.
His musical education began with mom’s and dad’s love for great vibes. Guitars, drums, tambourines, percussion of all types and a unique vinyl/tap cassette collection – based on funk and rock – accompanied his childhood. At a young age he decided to join a rock band as a drummer forming his first own relation to rhythm. During that period, he developed the passion of mixing up different music styles and matured a great sense of musical control. His enormous appetite for more pushed him to start djing - mixing music cassettes at middle school for young girls - with excellent results. 
People describe him with a: velvet walk, lively eyes and a disco ball in his heart.
Focusing on the electronic music and the club scene, he started to collect house, jazz, dance and disco music, challenging his dj skills with these new sounds every day. Soon he became a regular dj guest in the main underground clubs of Rome (Qube, Circolo degli Illuminati, Animal Social Club, Circolo degli Artisti, Rashmon, Lanificio 159, Piper, SMAV, Old River Park, Neo Club) following the footsteps of his passion. In 2011, did Guxi get his first Dj residency at Saponeria Club that allowed him to share the stage with many international Djs as Anthony Collins, Miguel Campbell, Raxon, Burnski, Carlo Lio,  etc.
In the following years, he joined L-Ektrica, feeding his deep affection to house and disco music, besides offering him the chance to play at Lanificio Club with international guests like Darshan Jesrani, Sophie and The Magician. Currently he spins the discs often at L-Ektrica.
Guxi has been serving the hottest house and disco cuts and without no doubt you will remember his dj sets as they are like a cosmic blender. Similar to a spaceship he always used to wait eagerly for the early morning hours, when the pace slowed down and Italian styled disco was the ruling sound.

Rising up out of Brazil’s hotbed of formidable talent, Mochakk (AKA Pedro Maia) embodies a level of passion and drive that has placed him in a league of his own. As anyone who has witnessed him in action will attest, Pedro wears his heart on his sleeve, often expressing his honest love for music in an endearingly physical manner. His skills as a selector have led to bookings at globally renowned clubs, including a residency at the iconic DC-10, while his productions encapsulate his diverse sonic identity. A natural born entertainer, who regularly devours music, history and cultural information by the truckload, Mochakk is a unique artist whose energy and enthusiasm are contagious.

Mochakk’s achievements in 2023 alone demonstrate how influential and respected he has become, with his online fanbase growing to over 3.5 million followers across his socials. He sold out a 5,000-capacity show for leading broadcaster Cercle at the Plaza de España in Seville (the set has almost 4 million views), played over 160 shows in 29 countries, and joined the family at DC-10 as a resident. On that note, Mochakk also released the huge single ‘Jealous’ with Circoloco Records, alongside his killer remixes of Groove Armada’s ‘Superstylin’’ and Diplo’s ‘Express Yourself’. 2023 also saw the launch of his Tricks And Tracks event series, merging his love of skateboarding with electronic music for a unique party. Elsewhere, his Mochakk Calling events have sold out at every worldwide location so far. At the end of 2023 he was named by both Amazon Music and Spotify Mint as Artist to Watch in 2024, wrapping up a hugely successful 2023 with the promise of an even bigger year ahead...

Ha un sogno: la regia, e un linguaggio che recuperi quello di un maestro, Michelangelo Antonioni, e l’elogio dell’incomunicabilità. 
Forse è per questo che è taciturno. Ha anche un altro sogno: ascoltare musica; si, perché ascoltare ogni giorno musica nuova e diversa è un sogno, e fa sognare. 
Ogni volta ti porta in mondi differenti e universi paralleli. Questa della musica la vive un po’ come una missione, far ascoltare , far “sentire” i “suoi” viaggi in musica, e chissà quali porte di quali mondi si apriranno per altri che la ascolteranno. 
Odia le catalogazioni, i compartimenti stagni, è un liberista, non si definisce dj, ma selezionatore. 
Il denominatore comune è il viaggio, e tutta l’arte che ne scaturisce. 
L’arte comunica non solo attraverso lo spazio, ma anche attraverso il tempo…la sensazione comincia dove la percezione cambia: di qui la necessità del viaggio…
