I let myself fantasize a bit and imagine what would happen if my track that I made earlier had hit the charts and become a famous hit by one of the famous bands. Why not? Then I let myself fantasize a little more and imagine what would happen if this hit had traveled to concert venues around the world.  Here I offer you a realized fantasy of my simple work for your own pleasure and entertainment. I hope it will be interesting and amusing to hear such a solution ?

It’s difficult for me to choose my favourite Bessie Smith song, but this one is easily in the top 5—perhaps because it stands out so strikingly from her usual blues compositions, or maybe its just her chillingly visceral description of hell. Covering Bessie is never easy, and, upon relistening, I don’t think I even attempted to match the effortless power of her voice. I tried to let the guitar create the mysterious atmosphere of the original, and used my voice more for sharing the story. I would definitely recommend listening to the original, if you haven’t heard it already!
