the strings here dance and swirl so majestically around thid lovely piano theme. mmm  mmm

oh yes, what a fine decision to add the strings as they blend so counterpuntally and take on a life and phrasing of their own which is as pleasing as the melodic explorations of the piano. well done!! a real beauty

what a clever way to exit..indeed..this figure to me again asks us to pause..and think things through Before they become regrets later on.  A lovely allegory wrapped within this beautiful composition. And i am not at all surprised that it all began with a piano improvisation :-)  Bellissimo!

Life has become rather busy lately, I want to apologize for not following you as much as I did before. I started working in a local musical school and got few private students. I also performed last week here in Ottawa and going to perform in Montreal next week (Friday 13th, sounds spooky, eh? :) ). If you happen to be in Montreal at that day, drop me a message and I will give you details about my performance.

What else.. Arty got an idea to make videos for the tracks of our 1st album - "Vibrant Universe". Not something fancy, just a home-made video using a cheap camcorder. Here is the first video for the piece called "In the wooden maze":

This is a song that "didn't make the cut" or at least didn't make it on my latest album. Nonetheless, I wanted those that love introspective solo piano music to enjoy it. 

The piece, though slow like a requiem is actual the opposite of something "dead" or sad. It is actual meant to be a musical "slowing of the heart" played so one an hear everything between the beats.

I've been busy lately transcribing piano pieces from my second piano album "Accidental Etudes". One piece is left to transcribe and I will compile them into a book and publish it on Amazon, hopefully, in May. Some scores I will put on my site for free download. I plan to organize some online event once I release the book and invite you to play my pieces. There will be some prizes :) More details to come later :)

The Flow Of Emotions

I started off learning piano at around 6 years old, but only realised my ear for music when I could pick out melodies I heard on the radio & from then on I started writing my own music & playing long into the night, to the point where my parents told me to stop so they could go to sleep!
In my teenage years I joined bands & learnt basically on the fly how to work as a group. Once I realised that keyboards were not as portable & able to be played on beaches / around campfires, I taught myself guitar. By adding drums, harmonica & bass to my arsenal, the stage was set for a fully working band to record in my garage. Since setting up my home studio, I love recording a tune each week & especially love collaborating with all the extremely talented musicians on soundcloud. I'm a full time musician, with many different hats in the music community. Including songwriter, composer, live musician & blog writer.
