I introduce to you, ‘Fall Apart Again’. A song I am a little terrified to release into the world because it is so painfully close to my heart. What to say… heartbreak, love lost. There’s no human words to articulate it. To do it justice. I wrote this on the eve of the end. When I knew it was over but I couldn’t say those words. Instead I sat on your bed and wrote you this song, as you drank black coffee and smoked cigarettes, listening to every word. Thank you love for shattering me open into a million tiny pieces. Somehow I found a way to put myself back together and bring you this little slither of my heart. ‘Fall Apart Again’… Xo

Simone Smith - Artist Bio

Based on the East Coast of New South Wales, Australia, Simone surfaces from a background of folk music  where she blends her many finger-style guitar rhythms with layers of vocally busy harmonies. With this, her use of synthesisers and tedious programming of drum samples from scratch, Simone is able to craft a unique and grunge-like Indie Pop subgenre of its own. Poetically placed lyrics dance around her intimate and brushy drums patterns with themes of life overcoming hardships and learning everyday


From a young age, Simone was very exposed to music, vocally coached by her classically trained mother and learning various instruments. Since age 12 she has written hundreds of songs with just the guitar or the piano, her voice and a pen. From 18 she has performed non-stop Australia-wide and into Japan picking up awards along the way. Having earned a double degree in Music and Education she has worn many hats in the music industry and currently takes the seat of producer to compliment her creations. 

The Pop Album is the first official release of her works as a composer.
