Simon Carter is a songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, engineer and director from Sydney, Australia. 

Existing in an odd limbo state, his style of music has been described as "too independent to be commercial, and too commercial to be independent". After years of struggling to find a comfortable niche, Simon eventually settled into the idea of simply letting his music be a reflection of his hyperactive mind and intensely short attention span. 

The result is a startlingly varied swathe of music veering from art rock to pop to electrofunk to straight out punk and everything in between; all done in Carter's isolationist 'Bower Bird' style.
