Jacques van der Westhuizen "Plathond” has been spinning vinyl for years. Plathond was born in the in South Africa, where he attended Point Blank Music College in Shoreditch Park, Shoreditch. Although the name of his alter ego “Plathond ” refers to a  you can be assured that his music is definitely not prehistoric, his tunes it is guaranteed that he will go tribal on you. His Music Style:
Psytrance and Progressive Psytrance and now Techno with a few acidy squiggles thrown in for good measure.

His very distinct yet genre-blurring sound, studio work and impeccable sets always packed in fresh thoughts for forward thinkers and future classics, quickly earning a residency at Washington’s legendary former club, Buzz, as well as a former residency on, Redux on XM-Radio. I start doing music in first grade in school in a small school band we have. And then for my self. And I been in Swedish idol but it’s not work out.
 
I be inspired off music when i come too Sweden i am adopted from Colombia. And I sing in my mom’s lap and home in my room. I been in different competitions and sing to. So my artist then when I starts was ken ring and Tupac. And like to dance so I washed saved the last dance movie. And other dance movies too.
 
My inspirations off music is idol and school band I play in and song competition’s.
