"Tik&Borrow return with their first EP release on In:flux since their chart topping album 'Neurality' at the back end of 2017. Since then the duo have been away refining their sound and working with such labels as Souhtpoint, Low Pitched, Articulate and Rico Tubbs' Bass=Win.

Here the pair are showcasing the Dubstep vibes they've been developing on their In:flux remixes for Fiyahman, Sekt-87 & Nekst as well as their tracks on our Free Dubstep series. Lead track 'Angel' is up first and is all haunting vocal tones and lush neuro synth bass that helps set the tone for the release. Up next is the grime influence tones of 'Arkham' - all hard hitting drums and wubs that has been making dents with pull ups on Rinse FM and 1Forty Live.

On remix duties we've pulled together some of the most exciting talent we've had the chance to work with recently in the form of Ali McK & IYZ and Aztek. Both artists give lead track 'Angel' a Dubstep rework with Ali McK & IYZ making it into a heavy stomper with some amazing synth work whilst Aztek takes it deep with rolling subs and crisp drums. The talent on show here is amazing and showcases an amazing future for In:flux!"

Jake Plisken - Blunts [Elemental Arts Premiere]

"After a few years in the making we are over the moon to add Bournemouth based Dunman to the Simply Deep catalogue. Infusing Dubstep & Grime influences with ease, Dunman has been making a stir in the scene and has swiftly risen through the ranks to become an established producer in the scene with releases on labels such as In:flux Audio, Southpoint, Project Allout Records, 1Forty & Reloaded Sounds to name a few.

The '99 Basslines EP' takes us through a brief history of Dunman productions ranging back to 2018. Starting off with the title track at 145BPM, '99 Basslines' is an aggressive punchy Grime track with outstanding synthesis work. No bassline stays the same for long before it starts twisting and oscillating in different directions, keeping the four minute long track exciting to listen to from start to finish.

The rest of the EP follows suit in terms of excitement. 'R2D2' combines nostalgic samples alongside hollow synths with a gritty Dubstep bassline to finish it off. 'Suede Shoes' gives you a moment to catch your breath with fresh R&B flavours, before the next track 'War Fi Dem' lands with a bang. This one was such a large track it would have been rude to not feature two big vocal talents on it, the result a track entitled 'Mad', a shorter vocal friendly version with lyrical slewing from MC's Deeks & Rame, showing you they're worth their salt.

We return to Wifey settings once more for the next track 'Pistol Nights', brimming with fruity colours one would expect from a label like Pearly Whites.

Finishing the EP off with style we have the first appearance of Defiant's new alias 'Yoji' as he takes his hand at remixing the title track with a wavey twist to it - just lovely stuff.

99 Basslines shows how versatile Dunman is as a producer and that he is a force to be reckoned with. With DJ support in the past from Distance, Glume, Rapture 4D & DJ Target, Dunman is a name you need to get familiar with."

Dunman - War Fi Dem

J. Kong is back on In:flux Audio for his third EP in as many years and here he continues to develop the minimal sound showcased on his remix of Dunman's 'Isolation' back in March. Sweeping synth lines and sparse drum patterns combine with those grime influences and J. Kong's signature sampling to great effect across both original tracks.

In the remix department we have two roster stalwarts rolling through to put their spin on lead track 'First'. Aztek goes for a sub heavy roller with crisp synth work and lovely deep drums, while Fork and Knife puts his melting pot production prowess to good work in creating a dubstep remix that feels oh so Fork and Knife with that wicked scattered percussion and those grimey feels.

It's the year 2420 and planet earth as we know it remains but a memory in the all so distant past. After countless wars destroyed almost every inhabitable corner of the earth and the rays of the scorching sun became more unbearable as time flew by, humanity was at the brink of extinction.

Driven by their instincts to survive, a new species was born out of the ashes of its predecessors, which call themselves 'Umans'. Lacking every sign of humanity, hence the name, driven purely by their instincts they've turned into ruthless creatures whom only goal is to live to see another day.

But even savages have to obey the laws of nature, and as nature dictates, every pac must have a leader. 'Bruk' as they call him is the worst of them all. His rage and sheer strength is unrivaled, with one growl he can subdue anyone at any time without the need to lift a finger. Aside from his physical ability he has one major advantage, intelligence. Being able to recognise 'Forms' he has an ability to blend into his surroundings which is far superior to the rest of his pac. But as time moved on the unpredictable happened, one of the so-called 'Umans' started to stand out from the rest and got the attention of their leader.

Honing its strength and knowledge by the day, the time for him to stand up against all odds and be the new leader of the 'Umans' was not far away. All we know about him is that he calls himself Ramsez.
