KRAZY KOOL | 'HEY HI'

"Sledgehammer" was a deliberate tribute to classic funk and soul music.
Peter Gabriel, a huge fan of soul music since his teenage years, wanted to create a modern song that captured the passion of those records. The track features a horn section assembled by Wayne Jackson, who played with Otis Redding and the legendary Stax Records house band, to give it an authentic, soulful brass sound. Additionally, bassist Tony Levin's slapping bass line and drummer Manu Katché's groove provide the funky backbone of the song, directly inspired by the rhythms of the genre. The result was a fusion of pop and funk that became one of the most recognizable songs of the 1980s.

SINCERE IMPOSTER writes, performs and/or produces a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave & Experimental World Pop. Collectively, it's a genre known as QUIRKPOP --- Music that makes you say, "What the hell is this?"

The band currently consists of two members, both living within the same body, sharing a similar existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused. However, both are extremely and unapologetically sincere. 

Influences include Weird Al, Nathan Fielder, David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain and T-Swift. Their favorite inventions are the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel... who may be an entity or a god.
