After bursting onto the scene with the video for Butter Soul, getting to the final of Glastonbury's emerging talent 2013 and igniting festival stages with her 7 piece band from Truck to her home coming Chagstock, enigmatic songstress, Lillian, retreated back to her home to build a studio with long term collaborator Gordon Mills jr (Ed Sheeran, Lissie, Newton Faulkner) to craft, write and record more songs.  During the recording process, Lill's talents were called upon by other artists; contributing with writing for Young Kato, not to mention a duet on Sion Russell Jones' sophomore album.  The first EP of songs will be available over the coming weeks, follwed rapidly by a new set; a trend she is set to continue.  The lead video for "Butter Soul" is still available and a new video for "Perfect" is now live  Lillian was used in the Autumn/Winter Jack Wills campaign and has just completed a soundtrack for a new puppet film with Jim Henson's work shop. Emily is a York-based musician who keeps getting distracted by all the musical possibilities. In 2010 she finished a BA in Music at York St John University, where she's currently working towards an MA in Composition. When she’s not writing and performing theatrical, 'punk cabaret' songs on (toy) piano, ukulele and loop-pedal, she composes music for other people to perform. Emily’s compositions have been played in wildly varying settings, from a fanfare in York Minster, to a sound installation for toilets. Her next big challenge is to consolidate her love of theatricality and write a musical. 

After three long years lost in the Tundra, searching for inner peace at the heart of the ice desert, a band of three humans calling themselves Avast! Narwhals sought to distill the noise of the water-beast into a music purer than whales' tears.
