PREMIERE: Jakob Mäder — Nights At Home (Banali Remix) [Constant Change]

Appearing for the first time on our platform, small and promising Stuttgart-based label Constant Change, run by local hero Jakob Mäder, releases its second installment by Jakob himself: “Remember EP – The Remixes” is the continuation of the story that began to be told in “Remember EP”. The four well-crafted originals received interesting interpretations made with love by Johannes Albert, Brian Ring, Banali, and Markus Phillip, turning the release into a must-have for the fans of high-quality House Music out there.

Markus Phillip, the mastermind behind the remix we were given to premiere/review, whose guilty pleasure for analogue synthesizers manifests in his debut remix of "Nights At Home" (a title that reminds us of the tough times we have been currently living in), brought a little Disco Music, one of his many an influence, to the party. The Munich-based DJ and producer is always up for real Disco, 80s-inspired dance music, and true House, an eclectic artist who cannot resist the good vibes of the golden ol’ times.

Hamburg-based Mireia Records rolls through with a new 5-track EP by Dance Station, including remixes from Benjamin Fröhlich and Casino Times. Headed by the RSS crew, Mireia Records releases the latest EP of Dance Station, a collaborative project by Josh Praus and Layne Fox of 40 Thieves. COSMIC HOUSE is the first single of INNER AXES upcoming EP. It is a HOUSE MUSIC track that leads the listener into the summertime and the open-air dance parties. The song evolves from the 90’s HOUSE and JUNGLE music inspiration with snare rolls and breaks. A touch of ACID and COSMIC sounds culminate the composition of this club weapon track.
The second track is ITALO CÓSMICO, a track that evokes the 80's. A combination of RETRO—FUTURISTE sounds, keys and female vocals inspired by the House Music.
On the third is NIGHT SIGNAL. Its kick and bass are in the way of Techno, but it is covered by layers of melodies, keys, organs and acid sounds reminder the House Music essence.
Closing the EP, we find a Techno megamix signed by Benedikt Frey. COSMIC HOUSE (Benedikt Frey Hybrid Megamix) is made with stems of the whole EP. A powerful track that lead us into the darkness but in its developed we can hear flashes of lights and acid floating points.

Italian producer Alberto Melloni collaborates with Mexican producer Alex Aguayo on a four track EP titled ‘Matter of time’. The EP comprises two uplifting originals and two floor filling remixes from Tulioxi and Empathy Slow. Alberto & Alex who have featured on labels such as Nein Records, Paradiso and Emerald & Doreen just to name a few are back with another stomping release on @InflectRecords

An EP perfect for the summer season. Just in time for the return of dance. Offering up an array of submerged deep bass lines layered over exhilarating progressive leads in a soundscape concoction. Resulting in a contrast of emotions throughout the EP from ecstasy to reflectiveness. Spine tingling melodies help generate a sense of reflection both within the music and of the troubles of today, as they seem to drift away and become a distant memory.

PREMIERE : Alex Aguayo & Alberto Melloni - Matter Of Time

All eyes fixated on her as she entered the room; burning deep into her skin. She knew exactly what they were thinking; 'who was this woman?' and 'surely she wasn't meant to be here?' It no longer bothered her, as she climbed up the ladder into positions of power, she knew it would only grew worse. It was difficult making it in a man's world but she'd give it everything she had.

Before lockdown New York & London music platform Gouranga shared 'Taubira', an exclusive track from French DJ and producer Dombrance to mark his first show in the US, and the first of Gouranga's Bowery Ballroom parties. The crew are now expanding their operations to share some of their favourite electronic music, which includes a package of remixes of the original cut. Tasked with adding their own signature touches are Slovenian producer Ichisan, Spain's James Rod, cosmic mainstay Prins Thomas and one half of PVBLIC XCESS, Josh Ludlow, who delivers two stellar remixes: an extended version and an Italo rework.

PREMIERE: Dombrance - Taubira (Josh Ludlow Extended Mix) [Gouranga]

As Roam Recordings approaches its 100th release, label boss Jason Peters returns with three originals for the 99th. The title track - Broken - is a heavy, mid tempo chugger lead by distorted guitars and analog synths for a dark and moody romp. Picking up the tempo is Time Division with its crossover of indie dance, dark disco, and techno with its driving arps and warped soundscapes over a pulsating rhythm. Rounding it out is Trifecta that again hops genres with a bit of italo and 90's rave in the mix. The EP is backed by two excellent remixers - Roam alumni and Indonesian electronic music maestro Jonathan Kusuma and South Korean rising star Shubostar. Up first is Shubostar who brings up the tempo of the title track with a breakbeat while keeping it dark and mysterious. Jonathan Kusuma takes on Trifecta and moves it into heady psychedelic electro territory with his bass mix.
