I've heard/read that it takes time for a DJ to find their style. After spinning live a bunch the past two years and spending time behind the decks, I'm starting to hone in on "my sound." What clicked for me was when a friend of mine was over last night (who is a full-time DJ) ask me "do you know most of your tracks?" I told him I probably know 10% of them, and it's always a surprise when I'm sifting through my library and I re-discover a track that I bought a while back. He laughed and said "Yeah, I mean, you have a very specific sound so I'm sure you can pull a track and mix it in readily."

This set is me finally capturing "my sound." It isn't exactly easy-listening (its more aggressive Electronica), but I love it. I built a crate of 60 tracks and recorded this hour long session, choosing tracks that felt right.
