Hi, this is Greg Elliott from California, United States, and this is my mix for Sinergia. I hope you enjoy listening to this mix as much as I enjoyed putting it together! I have been DJing for a hobby since 2002, just a few years after falling in love with the progressive house and trance sounds of that time, having been influenced by discovering John Digweed and other DJs though the Global Underground mix series. During the height of the COVID pandemic, I decided to get more serious about it, and took online classes at Tim Penner's True Peak Sound School, and in February of 2021, started posting 3-hour mixes monthly to SoundCloud. In March of 2022, I decided to start streaming on Twitch, and I try to maintain a schedule of 3 livestreams per week.

Jerpa (Jernej Pavlič) is DJ and co-founder of Sinergia events and Flows Festival.

His journey has taken him to the stages of festivals like Balance, Endorphin, Flows, and Castle Festival, as well as events by Eclypse, Butik, Soundhitectures, Magnetik Music, and other shows. He’s also performed in the region’s top clubs, from Ljubljana’s K4 and Cvetličarna to Zagreb’s Boogaloo.

Drawing inspiration from legends like Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, and labels such as Lost & Found, Soundgarden, and Sudbeat, Jerpa’s sets are known for their storytelling nature — guiding listeners through an emotional journey with driving progressive and melodic house, underground sensibilities, and unapologetic vocals.

As a co-founder of Sinergia and Flows Festival, he’s deeply involved in building a community around melodic and progressive electronic music in Slovenia. He also runs the @sinergia-flows podcast, featuring artists from across the globe.

Retired DJ was spinning the progressive house/trance of the mid to late 90s early 2000s aka heavily influenced by Sasha/Digweed. Currently listening to Sound cloud mixes mostly progressive & deep house,  and occasionally lighter melodic techno. I seldom listen to a mix more than once and keep exploring what is new. "Valera Obuhov, aka VAO, was born in 1981 and grew up in the south of Russia in the city of Krasnodar, near the Black Sea coast, where parties with the participation of various stars of the electronic scene began to take place back in the 90's. Such as the KaZantip held in the Republic of Crimea from 1992 to 2013. Also bringing foreign artists such as Anthony Pappa to the "Kakady Club" in 2007. Оn July 20th, 2012, a party with John Digweed and Denis A took place in the Krasnodar nightclub "Sugar". It was during these years that he fell in love with electronic music and completely immersed himself in it. 1996 was the peak of the growing popularity of electronic music in Russia and the appearance of numerous top clubs and events. His musical taste was formed thanks to such artists as Anthony Pappa, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and many others. In 2017, he decided to start recording mixes for friends and various music communities, realizing that without music, our life is nothing but routine. To this day, he tries to please his friends with mixes in the style of progressive house and melodic techno, his favorite musical directions"
