This is the third SGST volume mixed by DJ Perl, but it's the first time we've had a chance to really speak with her and give the radio listeners a chance to get to know the diva behind the decks.  In this episode, Peyton gets DJ Perl (aka Brooke Perlman) to open up about where her passion for house music comes from, before moving on to the deeper discussion about what life has been like this year for so many university students who have had to try and adjust to the impersonal necessity of completing their curriculum courses online via virtual classrooms.  At a time when millions of students have been forced to modify their methods of learning, as well as their behaviour, there has been a lot of reporting in the press about the recent surges in infection rates, placing some of  the blame on college and university campuses where many students have ignored suggestions to adhere to any recommended precautionary measures.   In this episode DJ Perl talks openly about her own experience of testing positive and getting sick with the virus as a result of spending time in the company of her friends at school who were not taking precautions.  She also identifies what she feels to be the single most important thing she has taken away from her four year university experience, and speaks passionately about her work with the All Ways Up Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in LA that helps first-generation and low-income youth get to AND through college by providing scholarships, emotional and mentoring support, as well as annual leadership summits. Sinners Got Soul Too is the name of a studio album released in 2018 by the artiste Peyton on Peyton Music. That summer Peyton launched and hosted a series of house music events on the island of Ibiza by the same name, as well as a monthly summer residency at the stunning Madison Rooftop Bar in London. Peyton currently hosts the 'Sinners Got Soul Too' weekly online radio show on Ibiza Radio 1 every Monday night at 10PM (CET) and on In Demand Radio every Monday at 03:00 (GMT).  The show features mixes from a selection of DJ's from around the world on each episode. 

Sinners Got Soul Too in all its forms was conceived and is presented by the vocalist/songwriter/performer/motivational speaker/anti-bullying ambassador Peyton, whose very name in the music industry is synonymous with soul. Whether it's an album, a radio show, or an event - the meaning behind the mission is always the same. Peyton is committed to putting more music into the world that uplifts the weary soul and relays a message of hope while reminding us ALL that we are brothers and sisters.  It’s not about religion, but rather a church that opens its doors wide to everyone for we believe that GOD is just a three letter word for LOVE, and love is the most powerful force in the universe.
